If you manage your domain through an external domain provider, but want to use the Jimdo Creator email system, then you can simply enter Jimdo’s MX records at your domain host.
If you'd like to use the email system of another provider with your domain that is hosted at Jimdo, please have a look at the following help article:

Setting the MX records
What’s important here is that you have connected your domain to your Jimdo website either via a CNAME entry. These are the necessary MX records:
mx1.jimdo.com
mx2.jimdo.com
Entering a TXT entry
If you’ve entered your MX records, then you’ll also need to add a TXT entry at your domain host. This TXT entry will reduce the risk of your messages being filtered out by strict spam filters. Here’s our TXT record:
v=spf1 include:spf.mandrillapp.com include:sendgrid.net include:emailsrvr.com ~all
