We recommend connecting your domain via nameservers (“DNS forwarding”) if you want to use the domain with your Creator website, but you would like to keep the domain hosting with an external provider.
Good to know 
: Connect your domain via nameservers if you would like to create an email account(s) with us. Don't use nameservers if you already have an email account with an external provider that you would like to continue using. In that case, we recommend using a CNAME forwarding.
Requirements
Before connecting your domain via nameservers, add your domain to your Jimdo website. For more information on how to do this, take a look at the following help article:
Changing the nameservers
Log in to the admin panel at your provider and change the nameservers for your domain to:
ns1.jimdo.com
ns2.jimdo.com
After you’ve set up the forwarding, it can take up to 24 hours to fully connect your domain to your Creator website.
Important: If you encounter issues while setting up the nameservers, we advise you to take a look at your domain provider's help center or to contact them directly, as our Support Teams can't provide support for external tools.
