If you don’t have any domain email accounts set up at your domain host, changing the nameservers is the easiest method for connecting your external domain. In short: the domain stays hosted at your current external domain host, but will be mostly managed at Jimdo.
Changing the nameservers
Log in to the admin panel at your provider and change the nameservers for your domain to:
ns1.jimdo.com
ns2.jimdo.com
With most domain providers where you can do this by yourself, you should find the appropriate guide in their help center. If this change cannot be made by yourself, then your provider's support team should be able to help you with this.
Note
After you’ve set up the forwarding, it can take up to 24 hours for the new connection data to be registered and work. Please also make sure that you have associated your domain with your Jimdo Creator website.
