Every Jimdo Creator website has an About page, also known as an Imprint. This article explains how to edit your About page, hide its link in the footer, use it for Bookings and remove the Jimdo notice.
Editing the About page
Please note that, for legal reasons, we can’t offer you any legal advice regarding creating your About page (also known as an Imprint), or what you should put into it. The following information is general information on creating an About page for your Jimdo Creator website.
To edit the About page on your Jimdo Creator website, first log in to your website and then click on the About link in the footer of the page. You can now edit this page just like any other page on your website.
Hiding the About link
If you have a premium Jimdo plan, you can hide or show the About link in the footer at any time. The standard setting is to show the link. If you’d rather hide it, go to Menu > Settings > General > Footer and uncheck the box next to About. Save the changes and the link will no longer be shown in the footer.
Using the About page for Bookings
If you use Bookings, your booking confirmation emails and the booking checkout link to your imprint. Until you choose a page in Legal pages, this link opens your About page. You can choose a different page under Menu > Settings > General > Legal pages.
Note: Hiding the About link in your footer doesn't affect the imprint link in your booking emails.

Removing the Jimdo notice in the About page
If you’re using a premium plan, you also have the chance to remove the Jimdo ad in the About page. In the menu, go to Settings > General > About Page tab and uncheck the box ‘Show “Built with Jimdo” on my About page’. Then, just save the changes so that the ad doesn’t show anymore.
