How do I create a guestbook?

Create a public guestbook on your Jimdo Creator website, so that your visitors can leave comments or messages for you.

Creating a guestbook

1. Log in to your Jimdo account and choose the desired website
2. Click Edit to enter your Jimdo Creator website’s edit mode
3. In the content area, click Add Element > More Elements and Add-ons
4. Choose the Guestbook Element

Guestbook settings

Simply click on the element to open up its advanced settings and make changes. Choose, if the latest or oldest visitor comments should be shown first. You can also make further settings, such as comment moderation, email notifications, Captcha spam filter, and discussion options.

Good to know: If you’ve turned on the email notification, then all messages will be sent to the email address that’s used for your Jimdo account.
