Want to offer your readers the option to subscribe to your blog? Then link your blog to the RSS feed. Here’s how it works:
Uploading an image
- Log in to your Jimdo account and choose the desired website
- Click Edit to enter your Jimdo Creator website’s edit mode
- Go to the place on your page where you want to insert the link to your RSS feed
- Add a Photo Element to your page and upload an image or icon to it—you can find free icons at Iconfinder
Linking the image
- In the menu of your Jimdo Creator website, go to Domains & Emails > Domains
- Copy your Jimdo subdomain—you’ll recognize your subdomain from the ending .jimdoweb.com or jimdofree.com
- Go back to the image on your page and click on the small chain link icon
- Insert your copied Jimdo subdomain in the field and add /rss/blog at the end. This would then look something like this:
https://username.jimdoweb.com/rss/blog/
https://username.jimdofree.com/rss/blog/
5. Save your changes
With one click on the linked image, your readers will then reach their RSS reader, where they can subscribe to your blog. In a lot of browsers, such an RSS reader is already included or can be downloaded as a free browser extension.
