Depending on the design template you’ve chosen, the sidebar appears either beneath the content area of your website, or to the left or right of your content. Many well known, reputable websites prefer to have a sidebar that is located underneath the content area.
If you’d like to see how such a change would affect your website, feel free to try out one of these templates: Barcelona, Miami, New York, or Rio de Janeiro.

Which contents should I place in the sidebar?
Since the content in your sidebar repeats on every page, this is where you would normally put all the info that is supposed to be easily accessible to your users.
- Contact information: Provide your business address or let visitors know how to get in touch with you
- Business hours: If opening hours are important for your business, your customers should see this info right away
- Social media: Attract attention to your social media accounts by linking them in your sidebar. In most cases, the logo of the respective social network is used in conjunction with a link to one’s own profile. Simply use the image element and link the image.
