What is the Social Profiles element
The Social Profiles element is a content element in Jimdo Creator that allows you to display multiple social media profiles in one central place.
With this element you can:
- add multiple social media profiles at once
- choose from a curated list of modern networks
- automatically use the correct icons
- manage all social links centrally
No design skills or custom graphics are required.

How the Social Profiles element works
Add social profiles
- In the editor, click Add element.
- Select the Social Profiles element.
- Choose the social networks you want to display.
- Enter the profile link for each network.
The icons appear automatically on your website and link directly to your profiles.
Design and layout options
You can customize the Social Profiles element to match your website design:
- Icon size: small medium or large
- Alignment: left center or right
- Color scheme:
- official brand colors of each platform
- or a clean monochrome style matching your template
On mobile devices, the icons adjust automatically and remain easy to tap.
Accessibility and technical details
The Social Profiles element is designed to be accessible:
- All icons include descriptive labels for screen readers
- Minimum touch target sizes are respected

What is not included
The Social Profiles element is only for linking to your profiles. The following features are not included:
- Social media feeds or timelines: Content from your profiles is not displayed automatically.
- Share buttons for content: To let visitors share pages or content, use the separate Share This Page buttons.
- Automatic connection to social media accounts: No direct account connection is created.
- Display of follower numbers: Follower counts or other statistics are not shown.
Existing elements such as the Instagram Feed remain available.
