A visitor counter is already integrated in to the Jimdo Creator premium plans. You can see the number of visitors to your website at any time in the menu under SEO > Main > Statistics.
What do these numbers mean?
If someone takes a look at your website, then this person can click through several subpages on your website. With it, the following data is created:
- Visitors: every person counts as one visitor
- Page views: every time a visitor opens a page, this is counted as a page view
So if someone looks at five pages on your website, you will see that there was one visitor and five page views.
When you are in the editing mode of your Jimdo Creator website, your visits won't be included in the statistics. This also applies to pages viewed in 'View Mode.' You will only be counted as a visitor when you open your website as a normal visitor.
Google Analytics
Additionally, if your Jimdo Creator website has a premium plan, you can also connect it to Google Analytics. Using this you can get more specific data about your visitors’ behaviour.
