Choose your template in the menu of your Jimdo Creator website under Design Main Templates and customize the look of your website.
Choose a template
To change your template, follow these steps:
- Click on a template to preview it
- Click Save to apply the template
The change will only be visible to visitors after saving.
Changing the template does not affect your content. All texts, images, and settings, including shop settings, remain unchanged.
Choose template variations
Each template offers several variations. These usually differ in colors but may also change layout elements like the sidebar or background.
You can find these variations by clicking the cards icon in the templates library.
Style existing content
A template always adapts to your existing content.
Example content shown in previews is not added. It is only included when creating a new website.
Filter templates
Templates define the layout of your website, such as navigation, logo area, and sidebar behavior.
Use the template filter to find a suitable design.

Will my content be deleted when changing the template
No, your content will remain unchanged. Texts, images, and settings are not affected.
