If you've connected your Jimdo account to Apple, Facebook, or Google for login, you can disconnect it again at any time. Before disconnecting a provider, make sure you have another way to log in to your Jimdo account.
Disconnect a login provider
- Log in to your Jimdo account
- Click the account icon 👤 in the top right corner
- Select Account Settings
- Under Login options, find the provider you want to disconnect (Apple, Facebook, or Google)
- Click Disconnect from [Provider] underneath the button (for example, Disconnect from Facebook)
The link only appears if that provider is currently connected to your account.
Note: Make sure you can still log in another way before disconnecting, for example with a password or another connected provider. If you disconnect your only login option, you won't be able to access your account.
Frequently asked questions
What happens to my account if I disconnect a login option?
Your account itself isn't affected. You'll just no longer be able to log in using that provider.
Can I reconnect a provider later?
Yes, you can connect it again anytime from the same Login options section.
I don't see a Disconnect link under a provider. Why?
That provider isn't currently connected to your account, so there's nothing to disconnect.
