When your clients pay online for a booking, the money is paid out to your bank account automatically. This article explains when payouts arrive, where you can check them and what to do if a payout hasn't arrived.
How payouts work
Payouts are made automatically. You don't need to request them. Your money is paid out to the bank account you entered when you set up payments. Your first payout arrives about seven days after your first payment. After that, payouts arrive about three days after each payment.
Payouts are made in the local currency of the country you selected when you set up payments. Supported currencies are currently EUR, GBP and CHF.
Pausing payments doesn't stop payouts. Money your clients already paid is still paid out as normal.
Note: Payments made with PayPal are not part of these payouts. They go to your PayPal account.
Check your payouts
- Log in to your Jimdo account and select your website.
- Go to Payments.
- Open the overview of your payouts to see their status and dates.
What to do if a payout hasn't arrived
- Check the status of the payout under Payments.
- Make sure the bank details in your payment settings are correct.
- Allow for your bank's processing time. Depending on your bank, it can take a little longer until the money shows up in your account.
If a payout falls on a weekend or public holiday, it arrives on the next working day.
In some cases, payouts can be paused, for example if more information about you or your business is needed. If a payout is paused or still hasn't arrived, contact our Support team.
