Which domain endings can I use?

Once you have purchased a premium plan, you have the possibility to register your own domain as an optional add-on.

Good to know: Your registration costs depend on the domain extension you choose. The pricing is prorated based on your subscription period, with VAT included.

Discover the cost of your domain 

Depending on the domain ending, your own domain will fall in to one of three categories: Basic Domains, Premium Category 1 or Premium Category 2. You can find out the price of your desired domain by following these steps:

1. Log in to your Jimdo account and choose the desired website
2. Click Edit to enter your Jimdo Creator website’s edit mode
3. Go to your ☰Menu and click on Domains & Emails > Domains
4. Click on Add a new domain and enter the domain with the ending you'd like to register

If the domain is available, you will then see the exact price to pay, based on your contract date. Upon payment day, the full price will apply.

Basic Domains

The following domains fall under the category Basic Domains: 

* When you subscribe to a new premium plan for your Creator website, enjoy a complimentary use of any of the starred domains (*) during the first contract term. Upon payment day, the full price, inclusive of VAT, will apply. You have the flexibility to cancel the domain separately from your website plan, in accordance to our terms of use.

Premium Domains, Category 1

Click on the plus symbol (+) to see the domains that fall under the Premium Category 1.

Premium Domains, Category 2

Click on the plus symbol (+) to see the domains that fall under the Premium Category 2.
