Is your contact form not working the way you expected? If so, please check if some of the basic settings are correct:
Does every question have the correct question type?
If you’re asking for a telephone number, but are using the email address field, the form will show an error message. What’s entered in to the field needs to match the field type.
Have you entered the right email address?
When you’re logged in, you can choose the email address which you want contact form messages to be sent to from the advanced settings in the Form Element. The email addresses you can choose from are only those which you have entered and confirmed in your Jimdo account.
Are entered texts visible in your contact form?
In order for entered texts to be visible in the form, the color of the font has to be different from the color of the text field. Use style by element on one of the text fields of your form and adjust the font color.
Do you get a confirmation when you test the contact form?
If you get a confirmation message saying the email has been sent when you test the contact form, then the message has been forwarded successfully.
Is the message going to the spam folder?
Make sure to check if the messages are landing in your email account spam folder. If this is the case, mark the messages as ‘not spam’ so they can be delivered to the correct place in future.
