After you’ve registered and created your Jimdo Creator website, you’ll automatically be forwarded to the Edit Mode. If you’ve already chosen a template, you’ll see some example content on your page. The example content is just to help you in the beginning and can easily be replaced with your own content at any time.
If you want to reset your Jimdo Creator website to its original version, you can do the following things:
Delete all the elements on your pages
To delete an element, click on it to open up the advanced settings. On the left hand side of the element you’ll see a small trashcan icon. Click on it and confirm to permanently delete the element.
Once you’ve done this, you can add your own content. To do this, click on Add Element and choose the element you want from the list. Repeat this step to fill your Jimdo Creator website with content and design as per your liking.
Delete all your pages
Another option is to delete all the pages which were inserted by the template. To do this, go to your website’s navigation by clicking Edit Navigation and then click on the small trashcan icon next to the page. This will delete the page and all the content on it.
After that, you can create your own pages. Go to your website’s navigation by clicking on the blue pop up Edit Navigation button, then click on the plus symbol to insert a new page.
