Enhance your website with exciting news through a blog. Set up your blog in a few simple steps.
1. Activate your blog

Embarking on your blogging journey starts with the initial step : activating your blog. To do this, go to your ☰ Menu, then proceed to Blog > Settings > Status, and slide the toggle to activate it. For more detailed guidance, refer to our guide on how to Activate Your Blog. |
Once you have activated your blog, a blog page will be automatically added to your navigation. It will then integrate into your website as a 'normal' page. The content of your blog page will be automatically added from the articles you write.
2. Write your articles
To create your articles, click on ☰Menu > Blog > Post, and then click on New post. On the left side in the Basic tab, you can fill in the following details: Title, Date, Category, Image Preview and Article Summary.
Under the Advanced tab, you can add the following: URL ending, Tags, allow comments or activate share buttons.
On the page, you will see your blog post where you can simply click on Add Element to add diverse content types into your post, such as text, images, widgets, and more. You can find more information on how to edit your blog posts here.
3. Publish your content
Ready to publish your articles? Click on your ☰ Menu > Blog > Posts. Once there, you'll find a list of your posts. Locate the article you'd like to publish and click on the eye symbol.

4. Organise your blog: categories and tags
Add categories and tags to your blog to organise your blog. Tags allow you to assign specific topics to your articles, while categories help streamline your blog into well-organized subpages. For further insights, explore the following informative articles:
5. Interact with your audience

You can enable either an internal or external comment system, along with convenient sharing buttons for your posts. This empowers your visitors to actively interact with your content. To unlock these features, click on ☰ Menu > Settings > General. Then slide the toggle and save the changes. Don't forget to choose between Jimdo or Disqus when activating the commenting system. |
