How does weight-based or tag-based shipping work?

With Business, Shop, or Platinum plans for Jimdo Creator websites, you have the chance to set up shipping costs based on weight or tags, as well as the usual shipping methods. Here’s how it works:

Creating weight-based shipping

1. Enter the weight of the product in the Store Item Element
2. In the menu, go to Store > Settings > Shipping Costs and check the box in every shipping destination which says Weight-Based Shipping
3. Enter the shipping costs for each weight
4. Click Save

The shipping costs will now be calculated based on the weight of the order.

Creating tag-based shipping

1. Enter the product tag (as a single word) in your Store Item Element
2. In the menu, go to Store > Settings > Shipping Costs and check the box in every shipping destination which says Tag-Based Shipping
3. Choose the product tags you want to use and set the shipping costs for these
4. Click Save

Shipping costs will now be calculated based on the product tags in the order.
