The amount of storage space available to you depends on the plan you are using with your Jimdo Creator website. The more storage space your plan includes, the more files, images, and videos you can upload to your site.
Storage space by plan
| Plan | Storage space limit |
| Free | 5 GB |
| Pro | 30 GB |
| Business or higher | 500 GB |
Storage space updates
We have standardized how storage space is displayed so it is clearer and easier to understand.
All plans now show a specific storage amount in GB. This helps you quickly see what is included in your plan and plan your content accordingly.
There is no price change associated with this update.
FAQ
Will I lose my existing files if I am already over 500 GB?
No. Your existing files remain online. Nothing will be deleted or blocked. If your storage usage grows far beyond 500 GB, our team may contact you to discuss optimization options.
How can I check and manage my storage space?
You can check your storage usage under Menu > Settings > Storage. If you work with very large original media files, your usage may increase faster. We will notify you in advance if you approach your storage limit.
Tips to make your storage space go further
- Use web optimized images such as JPEG or PNG files with reasonable file sizes.
- Embed videos using external platforms like YouTube or Vimeo instead of uploading them directly.
- Remove unused files or store large archives in an external cloud service.
- Archive rarely used originals, such as RAW photos, in a dedicated backup solution.
What counts toward my storage space?
All files uploaded to your website, including images, documents, and media files, count toward your storage space. Store product limits are not affected by this update.
Is 500 GB enough for my website?
For most websites, yes. 500 GB comfortably covers typical use cases such as image heavy pages, blogs, online stores, and downloadable files.
| Use case | Files | Approximate storage |
| Online store | 300 products with images | ≈ 1.5 GB |
| Portfolio website | 150 pages with images | ≈ 0.4 GB |
| Blog | 400 posts with images | ≈ 0.5 GB |
| Downloads | 100 PDF files | ≈ 0.3 GB |
Can I buy additional storage?
You can increase your storage space by upgrading your plan. If you are already on the highest plan, additional storage cannot be purchased separately at this time.
Will my price or uptime change?
No. There is no price change and no impact on uptime. We will inform you in advance if you approach your storage limit.
Does this affect all customers?
Yes. Storage space has been increased and standardized across all plans. Plans that previously had no fixed limit now include up to 500 GB.
